P. Adams Schwertransporte has purchased new BladeMAX1000 lifting equipment from Cometto to strengthen its fleet. The company from St. Vith, which also has branches in Luxembourg, Germany and Sweden, is firmly committed to the transport of increasingly larger wind turbine blades.
For the transport of these XXL wind turbine blades, P. Adams Schwertransporte has equipped itself with a BladeMAX1000 blade lifting device, the most powerful of the Cometto range with a maximum loading moment of 1000 mT. “In addition to the maximum lifting capacity of 1,000 mT, the Stability Control System (SCS) in particular convinced me,” adds founder Peter Adams. “After visits to Cometto at the production site in Italy and intensive technical discussions with technical director Fabrizio Lippi, I personally attended the transport of the largest onshore blade in the world in Austria and was able to see with my own eyes the extra stability at high lifting angles.”
