Group Bruno opens charging station for e-trucks in Tessenderlo

Must read

Group Bruno has put its first charging facility for electric trucks into use in Tessenderlo. One was chosentraditional’ fast charger. “We deliberately chose this type, given the current, still uncertain demand,” says Noë Bruno of Group Bruno. “If the concept is successful, we will scale up to a cooled charger with a higher power.”

“In addition to food, energy has been our core business for more than 38 years and will remain so in the future. We expect that vehicles will continue to run on fossil fuels for a long time, but at the same time we see clear shifts in the market. We are actively responding to this. Seven Bruno locations already have both fast and slow charging stations for passenger cars. By the end of this year, all 24 Bruno Service Stations in Limburg will be equipped with charging stations. The branches in Flemish Brabant and Antwerp will follow in a second phase. Charging facilities for electric trucks will also follow in Bilzen-Hoeselt and Pelt in the short term. The total investment amounts to 4 million euros.”
