Hermans Heftrucks from Rijkevorsel, part of the lifting & material handling activities of Heylen Group, takes over the Antwerp Allift Michielsens. With this acquisition, Hermans Heftrucks strengthens its presence in and around the port of Antwerp and further expands its rental and service offering.
Allift Michielsens has been active in the hoisting and lifting equipment segment for more than 50 years and has built up a strong reputation from the port of Antwerp in the rental, sale and maintenance of aerial work platforms, scissor lifts, telehandlers and forklifts, among others. The company was under family management for many years.
For Hermans Heftrucks, the acquisition means a strategic expansion of the offering. Allift Michielsens’ rental range is closely linked to the existing core activities, while Allift Michielsens customers will now also have access to the sales range of new and second-hand machines from Hermans Heftrucks.
Hermans Heftrucks was founded in 1962 and evolved from an agriculturally focused company into a specialist in industrial lifting equipment. The company has been part of Heylen Group since 2019.
