On January 1, 2026, the name TransWest made way for STEF, the group that took over the Oostkamp-based company in 2023. The site has become the Frozen Business Unit of STEF Belgium, with 200 employees and a fleet of 250 vehicles, spread over two sites where the company provides the transport, storage, co-packing and distribution of frozen products at national and international level, in addition to the other sites in the country where STEF processes fresh products. “The full integration and the name change to STEF are an important step for our branch in Oostkamp. It not only confirms our position as a reliable partner in frozen logistics, but also gives us the resources and network to further strengthen our service and expertise for our customers in the food sector,” emphasizes Koen Verbreeke, director of the STEF branch in Oostkamp.
