On to the 33rd edition of the Transport & Logistics Awards! The location is known (Nekkerhal in Mechelen), the date is fixed (April 2, 2026)… Now all that remains is to complete the candidate list!
Let us first recall the operating principle of the Awards: each prize is awarded by a jury that includes former winners, the editors of Transportmedia and various experts from the field concerned. For all prizes (with one exception), candidates answer a standardized questionnaire that evolves every year with new regulations and technological developments. Only the prize for our own carriers (the Truck Fleet-Owner of the Year) works differently: the jury members visit the candidate’s head office in pairs and then defend that candidate during the jury meeting. Whichever method is used, the winner of the award can be sure that his own qualities were assessed by real specialists.
- Digital Truck Award (winner 2025: Group-GTS) > for carriers who innovate in the use of digital tools and Artificial Intelligence.
- Green Truck Award (winner 2025: Ninatrans) > for carriers who reduce their ecological footprint by avoiding unnecessary kilometers and greening their fleet.
- Truck Safety Award (winner 2025: Cebeo) > for carriers who never slacken their efforts for road safety, both for their own staff and for other road users.
- Truck Fleet-Owner of the Year (winner 2025: Ecowerf) > for fleet managers who are not active in transport for third parties.
- Transporter of the Year (winner 2025: Kris De Leeneer) > for companies that excel on all fronts and have the honor of carrying the most coveted title in Belgium for a year.
