At the start of the 11th season of We Are Champions, the festive period presented a striking challenge. In the first episode, the candidates set out for a special shopping assignment, with a smart robot as a companion.
Participants Alain Van Peteghem (VF Europe), Joris Gielen (Herfurth Logistics) and Dirk Van Hoomissen (Gosselin Logistics) walk through the warehouse racks to choose five products, out of a total of 15, with an Effibot as a loyal puppy in their wake. Goal: end as close to the budget of 250 euros as possible. That turns out to be more difficult than expected.
Joris and Dirk offer strong resistance, but in the end Alain manages his budget best and crowns himself ‘top shopper’ of the episode. Congratulations!
