Gamification makes logistics training more accessible

Must read

VIL and UCLL have developed Logibuild together, a no-code tool with which companies can easily set up Gamified Training modules. The tool is designed to make logistics training more accessible and effective, especially for target groups such as low -literate people and foreign speakers. The project received support from Vlaio.

Logibuild emphasizes visual communication, intuitive interaction and motivating game elements such as feedback, nudging and simulations of recognizable work situations. In this way, companies can get acquainted with innovative learning forms in an accessible way, without the need for programming knowledge.

At DSV Contract Logistics and Solucious, Logibuild was tested for three months in real working conditions. Employees learned to recognize dangerous situations and trucks correctly unload through playful exercises. The results show that gamification stimulates learning behavior, increases involvement and promotes remaining information.

In addition to the positive experiences with ease of use and adaptability, optimisations are also possible, such as extra guidance in the games and support for 3D models.

Through a linked Learning Management System (LMS), co -developed with Supportsquare, companies can follow, analyze and adjust the learning performance. This makes it possible to better align training courses to the level of individual employees.
