Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) announced that its technician training curriculum has achieved National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Accreditation. BSRO is among a small number of automotive service providers to earn the distinction.
“Achieving ASE accreditation positions BSRO as an industry leader in automotive training and education,” said Marko Ibrahim, president of Bridgestone Retail Operations. “The impact is already clear, and I could not be prouder of our team for their dedication to building a better skilled, more reliable workforce.”
BSRO said ASE Accreditation provides technicians with an opportunity to earn ASE certifications throughout their careers while accessing industry-recognized training. The accreditation supports consistent automotive repair and service delivery across BSRO locations, it said.
To achieve ASE Accreditation, BSRO completed a four-year internal assessment and invested $3 million to update company training centers. BSRO’s 18-month ASE evaluation included 53 training activities with more than 3,500 employees.
