Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) announced that its technician training curriculum has achieved ASE accreditation. BSRO joins a select group of automotive service providers to earn this distinction.
“Achieving ASE accreditation positions BSRO as an industry leader in automotive training and education,” said Marko Ibrahim, president of Bridgestone Retail Operations. “This significant milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence. It elevates the quality and consistency of our training program, and empowers our technicians with industry-recognized credentials. The impact is already clear, and I could not be prouder of our team for their dedication to building a better skilled, more reliable workforce.”
Bridgestone said ASE accreditation marks a step forward for technician development and service quality across BSRO’s national network. Since 1972, ASE has worked to improve vehicle repair standards through rigorous certification and testing.
BSRO said this accreditation applies to the training curriculum used across its more than 2,200 stores.
To achieve ASE accreditation, BSRO said it underwent a four-year internal assessment and invested $3 million to modernize company training centers with new technology and equipment.
The 18-month ASE evaluation process included 53 training activities and participation from more than 3,500 employees. Evaluators reviewed BSRO’s curriculum, facilities, equipment, instructors, and learning outcomes.
