Over the summer, a 500 hp Iveco S-Way CNG covered more than 1,000 kilometers on a single refill of compressed natural gas (CNG) during a test drive for the press. This vehicle was equipped with two new fuel packs of 620 liters each, equivalent to 190 kg of CNG – an increase of 18% compared to the previous generation. The vehicles, driven by French journalists Fabien Calvet (www.truckstop.fr) and Loïc Fieux (Les Routiers), drove between the Belgian and Spanish borders under real operating conditions. The tractor was pulling a loaded Krone curtainsider semi-trailer with a total weight of 30 tons.
