Braced for impact: Falken Tyres offers technology, range and availability in light of 4×4 market pressures

With the latest GfK data suggesting the sell-out market is having a hard time (see separate article) and with the historically resilient SUV and 4×4 sub-segment feeling the pressure too, we asked a number of well-known brands for their perspectives on the challenges facing their market as well as what steps to are being taken to overcome them.

The first was Falken Tyre Europe who were represented by Marcus Schulz, assistant manager product planning, and – giving a particularly UK perspective – Dave Dineen, 4×4 specialist at Micheldever Tyre Services.
