ZF has restructured its Commercial Vehicle (CV) Aftermarket division to enhance customer value and efficiency. The company has unified its IAM sales, service parts, and fleet sales into a single team, now led by David Wakeling. This integrated approach aims to simplify customer interactions by offering seamless access to ZF’s full portfolio through one point of contact. The new structure strengthens ZF’s position as a leading supplier of CV products and includes support programmes like ZF [pro]Service and ZF [pro]Academy, reinforcing its commitment to fleet uptime.
Wim Deckx, managing director of ZF Aftermarket UK&I, emphasised the importance of speed, reliability, and expertise in the sector, noting that the restructure will improve support and communication. “The commercial vehicle sector demands speed, reliability, and expertise, and our new structure reflects exactly that. By uniting our IAM, service parts, and fleet operations, we are creating a single, customer-focused team that can deliver the full strength of ZF’s aftermarket capability. This step ensures our partners receive faster support, clearer communication, and access to the complete ZF portfolio from one dedicated source.”
ZF also acknowledged James O’Gara’s contributions, who will be leaving the company. This strategic move reflects ZF’s dedication to innovation, operational excellence, and keeping customer needs central to its aftermarket strategy.
