DKV Mobility launches its own TMS

DKV Mobility presents its own TMS for smaller and medium-sized companies. With DKV Transport Management Software, transport orders can be centrally managed and controlled, journeys can be monitored in real time and assets such as vehicles and trailers – as well as drivers – can be deployed.

The TMS is integrated into the digital customer portal DKV Cockpit and the DKV app. This means that processes such as job planning, communication with the driver and final invoice can be controlled continuously, without additional IT infrastructure. DKV TMS is now available to all customers as an optional upgrade and can also be used separately from the DKV Card.

The core functionalities consist of trip and tool planning, digital document management and automated cost control. “Thanks to the integrated real-time tracking feature, management always has an overview of ongoing journeys and can quickly intervene in the event of any delay or delay. And because communication with drivers takes place directly via the DKV Mobility app, status messages and feedback flow seamlessly into fleet management,” says Sven Bartel, Director Digital Portal & Solutions at DKV Mobility. “Many TMS solutions offer functions that are hardly used in everyday life, especially by smaller and medium-sized companies. This makes their application complicated and expensive. We have consciously avoided redundant, complicated components and have fully integrated DKV TMS into our trusted customer portal and our app with core functionalities that are decisive in the daily work of our customers.”
