Fern identified factors reducing tyre demand: better weather, changing driving habits, increased use of part-worns, improved tyre longevity, and vehicle technology. He emphasized the explosion in tyre variants, using the BMW i4’s 23 tyre options as an example. This complexity demands advanced logistics, like Stapletons’ Warrington centre. Despite strong headwinds, Fern and other industry leaders believe adapting to these challenges presents significant opportunities for growth in the evolving tyre distribution landscape.
