The manufacturer, which focuses on the production of high rim diameter tyres, told T&A that the “interim stoppage is to align production with automotive market dynamics” and that the pause was not related to the protracted halt of the UK’s Jaguar Land Rover production lines, to which Pirelli is a supplier, after a cyberattack.

The amount of French state aid current affairs TV programme Complément d’Enquête said that Michelin accepted while making 1.9 billion euros in consolidated profits and closing its Cholet and Vannes plants.
