Titan International has introduced the Carlstar Ultra Guard Steel tire line, the company’s first steel-belted skid-steer tire. Announced on Oct. 15, the new line is designed for harsh work environments with high puncture hazards, including construction and industrial sites, Titan said.
“We listened to our customers and studied competitor offerings to engineer a tire that raises the bar for durability and rider comfort,” said Travis Little, general manager of Ag, construction and industrial products, Carlstar and Carlisle brands.
Carlstar Ultra Guard Steel
Built for operators working in demanding conditions, Titan said the Ultra Guard Steel tire enhances both performance and comfort with multiple design upgrades:
- Heavy-duty steel-belt construction: Delivers more than 150% greater puncture resistance than traditional bias tires.
- Durable design: Larger lugs distribute load evenly and improve endurance.
- Flexible sidewall: Increases ride comfort through superior shock absorption.
- Deeper tread and increased contact: Boost traction and strength in challenging terrain.
- Built-in rim guard: Protects against rim damage, helping reduce repair costs.
The Ultra Guard Steel line is available for preorder now, with full availability expected in February 2026.
