TBC Hosts Week of Action with United Way, Fondo Potosino

Must read

TBC joined forces with United Way Worldwide in the U.S. and Fondo Potosino in Mexico for the TBC Week of Action. From Sept. 22 to Sept. 26, employees from 110 distribution centers, TBC’s corporate office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and its San Luis Potosí, Mexico location took part in service projects.

Across the U.S., TBC employees assembled roughly 17,000 snack packs for children facing food insecurity. Each kit included cereal, applesauce, and granola bars, among other items. Local United Way chapters will distribute the packs through schools and nonprofit organizations.

In San Luis Potosí, Mexico, TBC employees partnered with Fondo Potosino. They volunteered at Colonia Juvenil, a local non-governmental organization that provides education and training for vulnerable youth. Volunteers planted trees, performed maintenance projects, and hosted a student workshop to plan future mentoring activities.

This year’s TBC Week of Action marked the company’s second large-scale volunteer effort of 2025, it said. In January, U.S. employees assembled over 4,700 hygiene kits for individuals experiencing homelessness. In Mexico, employees packed 300 art kits for hospitalized children.

“We’re driven to support nonprofit organizations that strengthen communities, empower future leaders and help protect the environment,” said Chris Stearman, chief supply chain officer for TBC Corporation. “Our employees are committed to creating meaningful change in their communities.”
