Toyota has officially approved the John Bean Tru-Point advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) calibration tool for service and repair on Toyota vehicles across the United States.

The Tru-Point system verifies ADAS-related wheel alignment values and monitors each setup step to meet OEM safety standards before calibration. Using advanced camera technology, it precisely positions targets and adjusts automatically based on vehicle placement, John Bean said.
After calibration, technicians receive a detailed report confirming each required step.
According to John Bean, the Tru-Point website offers coverage videos demonstrating calibration procedures. Updated content provides step-by-step guidance on factors such as floor space, lighting, service data, alignment, target placement, and scan tool integration. Shops can also access an ADAS profit calculator to project revenue potential from ADAS services.
