Ecooltec, the German manufacturer of electric refrigeration units without fluorocarbons, has appointed Klaas Kliffen as commercial director for the Benelux. In addition to sales, Kliffen will be responsible for setting up a service network in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
“The Benelux offers Ecooltec a particularly high growth potential, because there are already many emission-free zones where only emission-free trucks are allowed to drive. Ecooltec’s systems are not only an efficient combination with electric trucks, but are also perfectly suitable for the demanding distribution activities that predominate in the Benelux,” says Klaas Kliffen.
As a reminder, Ecooltec’s technology does not use fluorinated gases or synthetic refrigerants, but two types of natural refrigerants that have no significant impact on the greenhouse effect and do not produce PFAS substances: propylene (R1270) and CO2 (R744), with a global warming potential (GWP) of more than 2000.
