Point S Dealer Recruitment Expands Nationwide

Must read

Point S USA is ramping up its national dealer recruitment strategy as part of a long-term growth vision.

“The strength of Point S comes from the independence of our owners,” said Walter Lybeck, CEO of Point S USA. “They keep their name, their relationships, their legacy. In return, they gain buying power, marketing support, and shared tools that help them scale sustainably. Once people see it in action, the value is undeniable,”

According to Point S USA, member benefits include:

  • Group buying power for competitive pricing and product access;
  • National marketing support to compete with big-box brands;
  • An industry-leading warranty program;
  • No hidden fees or restrictive contracts;
  • Freedom to maintain local branding and identity.

The company said members retain full control of their businesses, including storefront naming rights.

Point S Dealer Recruitment Platform and Team Expansion

Point S launched JoinPointSTire.com, a new website designed to explain how the cooperative works and why it stands apart. The site features member stories, financial and operational benefits, and ways for interested dealers to connect.

The cooperative has also expanded its recruitment team, adding two regional recruiters based in Ohio and Iowa. Its mission is to meet prospective members face-to-face with a streamlined recruitment deck that answers the questions independent owners ask most.

“We’ve revamped the entire experience when meeting with a prospective member,” said Jim Richards, National Recruitment Manager at Point S USA. “Our recruitment materials are built around the real questions owners ask. No gimmicks, no fine print, just clarity and support. Honesty is always the best tool in any conversation.”

Growth in 2025

So far in 2025, Point S has added 49 new stores, including expansion into Illinois. The network now surpasses 450 locations nationwide.

“Independent dealers are looking for a way to protect their autonomy while gaining the support and scale of a larger organization. That is exactly what we offer,” said Clint Young, President and COO of Point S USA. “It is why we have invested in our recruiting team and the tools they need to connect with dealers more effectively.”

As pressures on local businesses mount, the cooperative model proves more relevant than ever, Point S said. It enables members to stay independently owned while benefiting from collective strength, creating resilience and long-term success.

“Joining Point S means becoming part of a nationwide family of owners who share your vision of independence and want to see you succeed. We are not just offering a program, we are building a movement,” Young added.
