Giti Tire breaks another record with Yangwang

The likelihood of encountering a Yangwang during the drive home today isn’t high – but if you do, pull into the left lane and let it pass. For the Chinese brand now holds the honour of making the world’s fastest production car. A month after snatching the EV title, on 14 September 2025 the Yangwang U9 Xtreme entered the record books as the fastest production car of any kind thanks to a top speed of 496.22 km/h (308.34 mph). On both occasions it rode on Giti tyres.
