25 years Nebim: Limited Edition Volvo FH Aero and three days party

Must read

The Nebim Group celebrated its 25th anniversary at the end of June with a three-day event in Ghent. Central to the festivities was the unveiling of the spectacular Limited Edition Volvo FH Aero, a visual and technological gem that embodies the many years of cooperation between Nebim and Volvo Trucks. Only 25 copies of this unique truck were built, exclusively for the jubilee year. The party also raised 10,000 euros for VZW Schoonderhage.

During two exclusive evenings on 19 and 20 June and a public event on June 21, more than 1,200 customers, partners and sector nuts met for an attractive networking moment with food trucks, vehicle exhibitions and a look at Nebim’s extensive product and services. The limited edition truck, equipped with CMS mirror cameras, optimized aerodynamics and a 500 hp turbo compound engine, stole the show.

“This FH Aero Trekker is an ode to 25 years partnership between Nebim and Volvo Trucks,” says Diederik Nolten, founder of the Nebim Group. “The vehicle unites everything we stand for: innovation, efficiency, comfort and appearance.”

During two exclusive evenings on June 19 and 20 and a public event on June 21, Nebim received more than 1,200 guests.

10,000 euros for vzw Schoonderhage

The anniversary party also received a warm dimension. Instead of gifts, Nebim asked the guests to make a donation for vzw Schoonderhage, an organization that supports people with intellectual disabilities. The promotion raised more than 10,000 euros.

“Thanks to the generosity of our guests, we can make a valuable contribution,” said Reginald Malfoot, director of Nebim Belgium. Koen Valckenier from VZW Schoonderhage: “This is more than a heart under control. The amount gives our operation a serious boost.”

The event in Ghent is a peak in an anniversary year full of initiatives, which started with a team trip to Lapland and will be continued later this year via social media and the trade press.
