Across the Atlantic, on 10 February 2026, Vee Tyre and Rubber Co Ltd recalled 144 Vee Rubber tyres for failing to comply with US standard FVMSS139 and specifically a “tyre endurance lab test” in January 2026. As a result, “lower sidewall separation with cracking” could take place as well as “inner liner separation with cracking in air loss”, potentially culminating in “air pressure loss until total deflation could happen in service”, according to official documents.
